Invest in Rwanda

The government’s long-term vision is to transform Rwanda from a low-income agrarian economy to a medium-income, export-oriented economy operating as a knowledge-based service hub by 2020.

In line with this vision the country is currently moving from the current agricultural production and services sector economy to the desired status.

Kigali

Kigali is the Capital City of Rwanda, and the largest City. It is centrally located within the country and is well connected to neighbouring countries in the region, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The City is also connected internationally by the Kigali International Airport located in the heart of Kigali. At present, Kigali city acts as a major economic and employment node within its surrounding context.

The City is provided with many growth opportunities in terms of available undeveloped land, and low density areas with potential to be redeveloped.  Scenic naturescape and the salubrious climate offer potential to make Kigali a unique tourism destination.
